10 days in Milan, Lake Como and Venice
Day 1
Milan Arrival
Once outside of the Milan’s airport exit gates, you will meet with your private English speaking driver to be transferred to your hotel. Check in your comfortable room and have time at your leisure. For the dinner we have reserved a table at one of the finest restaurants of the city. Your accommodation will be in a 5* hotel centrally located.
Day 2
Private walking tour of Milan with shopping afternoon
After breakfast, meet your English speaking guide and start a walking tour of Milan. Your local expert guide will passionately take you in front of many monuments and architectural gems that made Milan a tourist destination for the lovers of classic arts, fashion and modernity. You will marvel at the imposing Dome of Milan, or the crowded Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Sforza Castle and more historical Palaces and squares of the city center. If requested, an exclusive private visit to the the Last Supper can be arranged on this day. After this emotional walking tour and a break for the lunch, you will meet with a private shopper who will indeed make you live one of the best fashion experiences ever. Also known as the capital of fashion, Milan fashion district hosts the trendiest brands and luxury shops of the world. On this tour you will try on the best clothes and original shoes and you will touch the finest fabrics with your own hands; your experience might be enriched with spontaneous encounters of designers and top models as walking around as the locals. At the end of the tour have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3
Transfer to Como and lunch in a beautiful Villa
After breakfast and check out, meet your private English speaking driver to be transferred to your hotel in Como. On the way to your hotel you will stop in one of the most fascinating noble villas of Como where an elegant table has been set for your lunch accompanied by a presentation and tasting of the best local wines. Next, you will board again on your private comfortable vehicle to reach your hotel in Como. Check in, and rest of the day at your leisure. Your accommodation will be in a 5* hotel.
Day 4
Full day on Como lake by private boat
After breakfast, get transported to the closest dock and enjoy a beautiful day floating on one of the most famous lakes in the world, the lake Como. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to get close to the most attractive villas and villages that have been built since Roman times. You will admire gorgeous gardens, vases, statues, and breathtaking landscapes from different panoramic corners of the Como lake coast. The expert guide onboard with you will accompany your visual sensations with remarkable anecdotes about the artists and the nobility that have lived their enviable life in these lake cities. For lunch time you can decide to reserve a table to one of the beautiful typical restaurants with view along the coast or promontory of the lake before jumping back on the boat and return to the docking moor or any preferred point.
Day 5
Super car driving and helicopter experience
After breakfast reach a close-by luxury car depot where an Italian sports car is ready to be rode by you. Choose your Lamborghini or Ferrari and feel like in the 007 James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” during an approximate 60 km drive from Padenghe sul Garda to Riva del Garda on the west coast of the lake. The final destination will be the Lido Palace, an exclusive 5-star hotel, exquisitely restored and redesigned to capture its former glory as a retreat for royalty. Then enjoy a tasteful lunch at Tremani Bistrot, an impressive metal-and-glass structure resembling the bow of a ship docked in the lakeside park. Head back to the starting point and conclude your day with a spectacular helicopter ride overlooking the region’s best landscapes. Return to your hotel with a private transfer and have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 6
First class train experience to Venice and off the beaten track tour
After breakfast and check out, meet your private English speaking driver who will chauffeur you to the Milan railway station. Here you will board on your reserved first class seat on a high-speed train heading to Venice. During the ride you will be served with fresh snacks, prosecco wine and local or international newspapers and magazines. Once at the Venice rail station a private assistant will be displaying your name on a signboard and then will lead you to a private water taxi that will sail you to your hotel. After the check in and a small break for the lunch, you will meet a private licensed English speaking guide in your hotel lobby to start an incredible exploration of Venice through off the beaten paths and corners not much known to the tourists. The walk will not exclude the iconic Basilica of St Marks, the Doge’s Palace, the romantic Piazza San Marco, the Clock Tower and the many elegant palaces you will encounter on your way. At the end of the tour, spend the first evening in Venice at your leisure or to the most recommended diners of the area.
Day 7
Private tour of Murano and Burano islands with lunch
After breakfast meet your English speaking guide and board on a private boat heading toward the smallest islands of Murano and Burano. Each of these islands boast unique artisan heritage, colored fishermen’s houses and inimitable craft shops. During the stop in Murano you will also enjoy a glassblowing demonstration including the possibility to design and buy your own souvenir from the most enviable glass-made production site in the world. While discovering Burano, you will find a magnificent table reserved for your lunch on the island. At the end of this wonderful experience, you will return to your Venice hotel and have rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 8
Private mask production class and photo shooting
After breakfast an English speaking assistant will escort you to a decoration laboratory where a local craftsman will be happy to tell you some secrets and traditions of his career. Next, it comes the time to design your own typical Venice carnival mask. As you know Venice is worldwide famous for its carnival, so with this experience you will have the chance to bring a piece of feast with you anywhere you go after. With your mask worn, a private photographer will come over you to shoot your bizarre and sensual looking in front of the best spots and landscapes of the city. Choose with the photographer the best photographs to be delivered directly at your home and to become unforgettable framed memories. At the end of the tour, reach your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 9
Free day and private dinner on a spectacular rooftop
Today you will have all day to rest to discover other curiosities of Venice or just relax. For the evening, you will meet your English speaking private assistant that will take you to a beautiful rooftop restaurant from where you will have the chance to eat exquisite food and see Venice from another perspective. After your dinner, you will walk back to your hotel through the panoramic streets of the city illuminated at night.
Day 10
Venice Departure
After breakfast and check out, meet your private assistant and the water taxi to be transferred to the airport. Before you board on your flight, it will be impossible not to say: Arrivederci Italia, see you soon!
